Scroll through pages of GTA Photography on social media and you’ll end up neck deep in photos of cars, trucks, bikes and planes. They’re great, don’t get me wrong, but it seems like there’s so much more in the world of GTA to explore.
The landscape photography of Arioza leaps off the screen every time you see her work. Colour, depth of field and an obvious knack for composition are the foundations of her popular brand of photography. I caught up with her for a quick chat.
Hi Arioza! Thanks for taking the time for a chat. How did you get started in GTA Snapmatic photography?
I was on Twitter one day and saw some people sharing their GTA photos and I thought it was a cool thing to do so I gave it a try.
Can you describe your photography style?
Foliage, lots of it. I’m not really a fan of car pics, I love nature.
What appeals to you about the nature settings in Los Santos and Blaine County?
The fact that next gen brings more grass and more detail makes it easier. I take scenic shots because nobody else does. I like to stand out, and I do a good job at that.
What are you looking for in a shot? What catches your eye?
Color is my most important thing. The more variety of colors the better.
How do you get around on a typical photo session?
I use a helicopter all the time when taking pics to get from one place to another much faster.
What are your thoughts on GTA V photography in general?
I just wish more people took pics similar to mine. I would really like to see them!
